PUBG Mobile is gearing up for the global release of Version 4.0 on September 4, 2025, bringing with it the much-awaited Spooky Soirée season. The update, announced on X (formerly Twitter), will feature fresh collaborations, new maps, and supernatural gameplay twists.
The highlight of this release is the Spooky Soirée mode, set inside the eerie Wraithmoor Mansion. The map blends atmospheric storytelling with tactical gameplay, offering players maze-like corridors, lush botanical gardens, and magical mirrors that teleport them across different areas—adding unpredictability and excitement to battles.
A new supernatural companion, Ghostie, will also debut. Ghostie introduces a set of unique abilities: active powers such as Floating Balloon and Guardian Shield, and passive perks like Boost, Ghost Helm, Armorer, and Scan, all designed to give players tactical advantages and fresh strategies across maps.
From September 5 onward, additional seasonal content will roll out, including anime crossovers, luxury vehicle partnerships, and limited-time events that infuse PUBG’s action with magical and fantasy-driven elements.
With Version 4.0, PUBG Mobile is expanding beyond traditional battle royale mechanics, blending supernatural themes with competitive gameplay to keep its global community engaged and entertained this spooky season.
