Allcargo undertakes a noble CSR initiative

Allcargo Logistics, through its in-house NGO Avashya Foundation has successfully inaugurated a skill development center in Uran (Maharashtra) and launched an extensive environment conservation program ‘Maitree’, as part of its CSR initiatives.

Taking the cause forward, Allcargo has setup a skill development center at its CFS (Transindia Logistics Park) in Uran, which will train deserving citizens from the tribal as well backward regions of Maharashtra such as Marathwada (especially the children of farmers who have committed suicide due to drought in the region), in the skills of crane operations, heavy vehicle driving, warehouse management and others. The objective of the center is to empower them to acquire skills which will help them to find employment and sustain their living. The inauguration function was held on Friday 8th January 2016.
