NTPC Organises RTI Workshop

A Workshop on RTI was held at NTPC, PMI-Noida. The programme was inaugurated by Director (HR), Shri S. Roy and ED(CP) Shri P. Purkayastha. The objective of the Workshop was to promote, awareness, update the development in RTI field and to have an effective communication between APIOs and RTI Cell. The Portal for internal communication was also displayed and suggestions regarding the same were sought from the participants. In his Inaugural Speech D(HR) stressed on the importance of timely disposal of RTI queries and make the internal Portal effectively functioning by one month. CPIO, Shri S. Nandan delivered a Session on NTPC’s RTI experience, achievements, issues and challenges while RTI Consultant, Shri O P Khorwal delivered his Session on overall RTI scenario. Ex-CPIO, Shri M.K. Goyal discussed the evolving nature and spectrum of RTI for last 1 year.
