OnePlus introduces OxygenOS 16 powered by its "Intelligently Yours" philosophy

OnePlus has unveiled OxygenOS 16, a powerful update that sets new standards for smartphone intelligence and performance.  Built on the "Intelligently Yours" philosophy, this major release represents OnePlus's most significant software advancement, seamlessly blending cutting-edge AI capabilities with the brand's signature fast and smooth experience. OnePlus 15 will be the first smartphone to ship with OxygenOS 16 right out of the box. The OS is based on the latest version of Android.

OxygenOS 16 unveils OnePlus's most advanced and intuitive AI suite yet, which is tailored to adapt to user behaviour for a truly personalized experience. The heart of the software is Plus Mind, a personal intelligence that intuitively recognizes on-screen content and organizes it in Mind Space, a unified hub for all your captured data.

With the Plus Key or a swift three-finger swipe-up, users can configure Plus Mind as a shortcut. The Plus key can also be set as default for other key functions like screenshots, flashlight, camera, voice recording, Do Not Disturb mode, and seamless switching between ring, vibrate, or silent modes.

 
Moreover, Plus Mind can understand the context of saved content: for instance, it can automatically extract the date and time from a captured event poster and prompt the user to add it to their calendar. It also supports long screenshot capture, preserving entire content in-depth and organizing it efficiently within your Mind Space.
